You are learning in this course about the benefits, hazards, and proper procedures for diving solo.
Among other things, we will focus to broaden your knowledge and skill set for:
- adequate pre-dive planning
- Limits based on personal gas consumption
- Exact dive and/or no-decompression profile
- How to use and carry a redundant air supply
- Proper safety stop procedures
- Monitoring of decompression status equipment; tables, computers, equipment
- Navigation skills and demonstrate proficiency of navigation with compass
- Demonstrate emergency change over to a backup regulator or bailout scuba
- Deploy surface marker and use of surface audible signaling device
Course Structure
- Minimum age 21
- SDI Advanced Diver or equivalent
- Provide proof of 100 logged dives
- Duration: 2 dives over 2 days
