The TDI Cave Course is the third level in overhead training offered by TDI. This course is for anyone wanting to explore further into the overhead environment, making jumps to adjoining passages. During the cave course I will teach you the proper techniques for diving in a cave environment while maintaining and navigate along a permanent guideline. We will cover additional topics and skills such as
- Cave conservation
- Proper guideline procedures
- Complex Navigation with Jumps, Ts, intersections into circuit and traverses
- S drills
- Further Hand and light signals
The TDI Cavern and Cave manual will outline the procedures for conducting cave dives and a great addition to your diving library. E-learning possible.
Course Structure
Prerequisite: Intro-to- Cave Course with me or Intro-to-Cave of a recognized technical training organisation and one additional evaluation day before accepting the student
Duration: minimum 4 days, 8 dives
Training in technical diving is performance based, so the duration stated is the minimum and does not automatically lead to certification. Add enough redundant days while on your vacation here to be able to adopt to your needs.
