The TDI Introductory Cave Course takes a serious look at the skills needed to conduct safe and enjoyable cave dives. During the into-to-cave course I will teach you the proper techniques for diving in a cave environment while staying on the main line. Topics and skills are covered such as
- Equipment configuration and preparation
- Body posture and trim
- Propulsion techniques
- Cave conservation
- Proper guideline procedures
- Lost line drills
- Buddy emergency procedures (lost diver drill and more)
- S drills
- Hand and light signals, touch contact communication
The TDI Cavern and Cave manual will outline the procedures for conducting cave dives and is a great addition to your diving library. E-learning is available.
Course Structure
Prerequisite: Cavern Course with me otherwise Cavern Course from a recognized training organisaion and at least one additional evaluation day
Duration: minimum 2 days, 4 dives
Training in technical diving is performance based, so the duration stated is the minimum and does not automatically lead to certification. Add enough redundant days while on your vacation here to be able to adopt to your needs.
