A short listing of the most important activities from the years 2020 till 2024:
- Revision of the website and translation into Spanish
- Successful “ hibernating” of the 2020 non-season in Mexico thanks to great support from my clients, friends and family
- DAN HIRA Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment program Level 1 in 2020
- Rehabilitation after accident at the end of 2020 and successful resumption of my diving activities after only a few months in March 2021 (with start of work in May)
- Move to another house in a closed residential area, thus even better security for equipment storage
- Crossover of my recreational instructor certifications to SDI
- After a quiet 2021 season, the upswing in 2022 and 2023 with many courses, guided dives and reunions with many repeaters who were finally able to travel again without restrictions. Thank you once again, your financial support, also through the vouchers, made this possible.
- upgrade to Advanced Nitrox and Deco Procedure Instructor, as well as Cave Stage Instructor
- Diving Caves T-shirts are finally available
- For many years, I have kept my prices and booking conditions the same, but rising prices are forcing me to make a price adjustment for 2024. More on this in another post
- The highlight for 2024 is definitely my upgrade to SDI Course Director and SDI/ TDI Instructor Trainer, which now authorizes me to train diving instructors, conduct crossovers and conduct courses for recreational diving instructors who want to teach technical diving courses. More on this in another post.
- Diving Caves is now listed with TDI/SDI as a dive center and we will soon have a central point of contact in Playa del Carmen.
